Description

I. Academic Specialization: Applicants must possess research expertise in one of the following fields:

Classical Literature (Priority given to Poetry, Ci-poetry/Qu, and Classical Prose).
Academic Thought (Priority given to Intellectual History).
Modern Literature.
II. Openings: 2 Full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.

Requirements

III. Qualifications:

(1) Newly recruited full-time faculty members who do not yet hold a teaching certificate for the proposed rank must undergo a faculty qualification review in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s "Regulations Governing the Accreditation of Teacher Qualifications in Institutions of Higher Education."

(2) Candidates who already hold a teaching certificate at the rank of Assistant Professor or above in Chinese Literature or a related discipline from a domestic or foreign university recognized by the Ministry of Education must satisfy at least one of the following requirements within the five years prior to the date of appointment (from February 1, 2022, to January 31, 2027): (1) Research papers that have been peer-reviewed and officially published, or accepted for publication with formal documentation confirming a scheduled publication date. (2) Scholarly monographs that have been peer-reviewed and officially published, including documentation of the review process and proof of public distribution.

(3) Applicants holding foreign degrees must have their diplomas verified by an embassy, consulate, representative office, or another institution authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to certify the authenticity of the documents.
