Position Vacancy: Two Tenure-track openings for Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Information Systems
The Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management (ISOM) at the HKUST Business School invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor/associate professor positions in the Information Systems area beginning in July 2027. Candidates must have received a doctorate in Information Systems or a related area by May 2027. The candidates must also have a strong commitment to high-quality research and excellent teaching. The successful candidate should have the ability to teach at both the MBA and undergraduate levels.
Candidates preferably will be able to do both research and teach courses in the following areas:
1. Cybersecurity [Note: We are offering a new MSc in Information and Cybersecurity Management]
2. AI, ML, Fintech [Note: We are in the process of creating a joint HKUST-Tsinghua Research Center for the AI Economy]
3. Health IT [Note: HKUST is setting up a medical school]
