Job Summary/Basic Function: The Department of Economics and Finance at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position (#113030) in Finance at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2025.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and conduct research in the following areas of finance: corporate finance, international finance, financial intermediation, financial markets, behavioral finance, investments, asset pricing, household saving and personal finance, and financial planning.
Other Desirables: Applicants with professional work experience in finance or those with Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations or other finance-related professional certifications will receive special consideration.

Requirements
Required Education: A terminal degree in finance or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution is required at the time of appointment.
