Position Overview:
The School of Education announces an opportunity to apply for a full-time tenure-track (Assistant Professor rank) or non-tenure-track (depending on the candidate's qualification) faculty position in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology to begin Spring 2026.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate for the tenure-track position will be responsible for effective teaching, research, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Primarily teaching courses in Audiology, Communication Disorders, and Speech and Language Development;
- secondarily, interest in conducting quality scholarly research that leads to publication in peer-reviewed journals;
- contributing service to the college community.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Applicants for the tenure track position must have an earned Ph.D. Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology (or Au.D.), or Speech and Hearing Science.
- ABDs will be considered only if the degree will be completed prior to or shortly after the time of employment.
- Applicants must have a certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
The successful candidate for the non-tenure track position will be responsible for effective teaching, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Teaching courses in Audiology, Communication Disorders, and Speech and Language Development at introductory levels.
- Contributing service to the college community.
Applicants for the non-tenure track position must have an earned Master's degree and must have a certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Applicants with teaching experience will be given preference.
