Job Summary | The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine, Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible physician to join the Division of Gynecologic Oncology for a full-time faculty position. Responsibilities include: 1. Serve as an attending physician within the UKHC system specifically in the Gynecologic Oncology clinic, inpatient unit, and consults in the Emergency Department, UKMD's, Markey Cancer Center, Inpatient services. 2. Serve as an attending surgeon within the UKHC operating rooms 3. Provide Outreach Services (telehealth or in person) as needed 4. Contribute to the teaching responsibilities of the Department including medical students, residents, and fellows 5. Engage in scholarly activity pertinent to clinical care, education, quality and safety or health services 6. Engage as a citizen of the Department and Division recognized by attending departmental and divisional faculty meetings, Grand Rounds, patient care conferences, tumor board and other important functions. 7. Participate and serve on UKCOM, UKHC and University Committees as assigned The Division of Oncology has a Board-Approved three-year Fellowship which takes one fellow each year. Experience in teaching and supervising medical students and resident physicians is desirable. Applicants should also have an interest in clinical care and research.
