- Assistant/Associate Professor of Child Clinical Psychology

The Department of Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Child Clinical Psychology.
Areas of specialization within child clinical psychology are open, but not limited to, candidates whose research would synergize with our current expertise in community and school-based prevention, childhood adversity and maltreatment, cognitive-neuropsychological bases of attention and behavior, stress and coping, emotion regulation, and developmental psychopathology. Two priority areas are: (1) mental health needs of and interventions for children, adolescents, including, but not limited to, families of color and other marginalized populations, and (2) mechanism-driven research in developmental psychopathology to elucidate pathways to risk and resilience. Candidates with other related research programs will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
A Ph.D. in clinical Psychology and clinical internship are required with license eligibility in Pennsylvania by the appointment date for both ranks.
Candidates for the tenure-track Associate Professor of Child Clinical Psychology position must have demonstrated excellence as a researcher, scholar, and teacher in a relevant field and have an established reputation in scholarly achievement. Duties will involve a combination of teaching (both undergraduate and graduate), research, and service, based on the candidate’s qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong record of publications in top outlets and have either history of or potential for external funding.
