Description
DescriptionThe Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) invites applicants for a lab-based faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate will be a laboratory-based scientist with expertise in the immunobiology of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and the graft-versus-leukemia effects (GVL), including the design and use of pre-clinical models and correlative human studies to understand the complex mechanisms in antigen presentation and T cell differentiation. The selected individual will foster an environment of collaboration and productivity in the field of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and bone marrow transplantation therapies for hematological malignancies.
Faculty are expected to perform their primary activities on-site at Fred Hutch. The role does not include an independent laboratory space in which to conduct research, but will have the use of an existing laboratory space from a senior faculty member at Fred Hutch.

Qualifications
For consideration, applicants must have a PhD or medical doctorate (or foreign equivalent) and a record of research productivity in the areas of transplantation biology and immunology, including high impact publications and successful grant funding.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $183,585 to $189,093 for faculty hired at the Assistant Professor rank. Pay for Faculty positions is based on a variety of factors, including degree, specialty, clinical practice and experience.
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security.
