Position Description:
The Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Disorders within the School of Medicine at the University of Louisville (UofL) is seeking applicants for one (1) full-time, 12-month, term-track assistant professor in speech-language pathology to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in their area(s) of expertise. Preference will be given to those with backgrounds in pediatric speech and/or language disorders. It is important to note, that while mentorship and scholarly activities are required, the positions will emphasize teaching as the primary area of excellence. Each applicant can anticipate serving as course director for 2-3 courses during each fall and spring semester with no teaching required during the summer months. Applicants must hold at minimum: a PhD or EdD in speech-language pathology or related field; a current certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; and Kentucky licensure eligibility. The expected start date is 1/1/2026.
