Position Title: Assistant Professor, Physical Chemistry
Position Location: Wingate Main Campus
Wingate University’s Department of Chemistry and Physics seeks to hire a new colleague in Physical Chemistry for Fall 2026. The position is full-time and tenure track.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaching physical chemistry lecture/laboratory, general physics lecture/laboratory and other courses as assigned or developed
- Serving as a research mentor to undergraduate students
- Additional duties may include academic advising and serving on university committees
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ph.D. in physical chemistry
- A strong background is physics is preferred
